In Canada, people have Thanksgiving Day on the second Monday in October. The harvest brings a lot of food to the people. On Thanksgiving Day people in Canada and America like to have a big meal with their friends and family just like Chinese people do at Mid- Autumn Festival. Many Canadians and Americans put flowers. vegetables and fruits around their homes to say "Thank you" for the harvest. At a Thanksgiving Day dinner, many Canadians and Americans will eat turkey,potatoes, and pumpkins pie. These are food like the food of many years ago. They are saying"Thank you" for. the harvest that comes every year.

Fleet of China Southern Airlines China Southern Airlines Co., Ltd. is a proud member of SkyTeam. With its_①_global network and fleet, China Southern Airlines' logo can be seen all around the world. Currently, the fleet of China Southern Airlines ②Boeing 737, 747,757, 777 and 787, Airbus 319,320,321, 330 and 380, E190, and B747 cargo aircraft. The airline's fleet ranks among the top ones in Asia in terms of fleet size. China Southern Airlines is the first airline in China to both A380 and B787 at the same time. So far, the largest fleet of China Southern Airlines is the A320 fleet. A320 series are narrow-body aircraft, and are④used for domestic and international short- to medium- haul flight. The A330 series are much larger. They are wide-body aircraft. The Airbus 380 is called superjumbo, as it is very large in size. It is the world's largest double-deck and wide-body jet with four engines. A380 is comfortable as it offers more room for passengers. When flying in A380 first-class, you will be very pleased with the ⑤ it offers. China Southern Airlines' B737 fleet is also a large one, and it is⑥to have more B737 aircraft in the future. Both B737 and B757 are narrow-body aircraft. B747 aircraft are the largest in Boeing family so far. China Southern Airlines also operates B777 aircraft. The 600th aircraft of our company is the B777-300ER. Boeing 787 is a wide-body airplane with two engines. B787 is called Dreamliner for many reasons. It is the most advanced civil aircraft in the world so far. Since its first B787 landed at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport in June 2013,China Southern Airlines has been operating 10 B787s on both domestic and international ⑦. ⑧Boeing aircraft and Airbus aircraft, China Southern Airlines also operates E190. The full name of E190 is Embraer 190. E190 aircraft are narrow-body two-engine jets, which are made in Brazil. With the most advanced aircraft and excellent service, we are sure to attract more passengers in the future.

Etiquette on Airplane There is some imporant et que tt on airplanes.Take reclining seats,for example.We all want to get com for able when the flight takes off But we have to take care to avoid inconvenience to the passenger seated in front of us or behind us by reclining your seat a ile too much.We will consume the leg space of the passenger behind us and we wll intrude the space of the passenger seated in the front by spreading our legs under their seat too much.It is advisable that you recline only half the capability of these at's ability to recline. We should be careful with elbow room too.Make sure you are not occupying the arm space of the passenger next to you.There is one armrest to be shared between two seats.You can do without it.But if you are using it，make sure your elbow does not touch your neighbor's body. Screaming kids and angry parents are what everyone hates. Kids will play, understandably.However,it is absolutely rude for parents to allow their children to keep everyone awake throughout the journey.Sometimes,many parents try to coverup the embarrassment by shouting at their kids to keep quiet and sitdown.This is even worse.First, you don't teach your children howto be have on an airplane and then pretend to be a good parent by publicly humiliating them.Such parents are often heard screaming and lecturing their kids about good manners.Please,do it at home.Airplanes are just not the place.

Farewell Concorde The supersonic Concorde service of British Airways came to an end on October 23,2003. n the last commercial flight took off for NewYork.Concorde never recovered after a ific crash near Paris Charles deGaulle airport three years ago,in which 113 people died. sh Airways decided to retire the famous aircraft after 27 years because it was no longer table. As the last ever transatlantic Concorde flight carried 100 celebrities from NewYork and landed at Heathrow Airport on a Friday afternoon, a wave of applause,followed by a huge cheer,went up from the thousands of people gathered there for the historical event.The sight of the three supersonic jets landing one after another was itself an extraordinary event for the enthusiasts in the e rowd, some of whom had traveled from as faraway as SouthAfrica. Captain Mike Bannister said he was“proud and privileged”to fly the plane back from New York.“What we have tried to do is to make the retirement of Concorde a celebration- something that both the public and airline can look back at with pride". The last Air France Concorde flight arrived at Paris Charles deGaulle on31May,2003. The Airline's five Concorde shave all gone on public display: three in France,one in the US. and one in Germany, where the a i craft was cut into pieces for the fnal jou mey by road and canal before being reassembled.
